As an exceptionally trained psychodynamic psychotherapist with a uniquely personalized approach, Rebecca Alexander, LCSW-R, MPH, RYT has a flourishing full-time private practice in Manhattan. Rebecca works with individuals, couples, families, and groups, specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, grief/loss, eating disorders, addiction, and disability. With curiosity, compassion, and candor, Rebecca's goal is to help her clients uncover their true potential and lead a life that is authentic, meaningful, and worth celebrating

EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS

Rebecca holds two master's degrees from Columbia University in Clinical Social Work and Public Health (Socio-medical Sciences: Health Promotion Disease Prevention). Rebecca received post-graduate training at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy and earned her psychodynamic psychotherapy certification from the American Institute for Psychoanalysis. Rebecca is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), and she is a registered yoga and meditation teacher (RYT).
